Studio Policies & Suitability

At Jan Beauty Brows, I am committed to delivering Newcastle’s highest standard of cosmetic tattooing. To ensure a professional, seamless experience and the most precise results, the following policies apply to all bookings.

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies below.

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your appointment. This is deducted from the total cost of your treatment.

    • Rescheduling: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to transfer your deposit to a new appointment date.

    • Late Cancellations: Requests made within 48 hours of your appointment will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

    • Late Rescheduling Fee: To rebook within the 48-hour window, a new $100 deposit may be required to secure a future date

    • Alone in the Studio: To maintain focus, precision, and strict NSW health and hygiene standards, clients must attend their appointment alone.

    • Children & Guests: For safety and sterilization reasons, children and additional guests are not permitted in the treatment area. This ensures my full concentration is dedicated entirely to your procedure.

  • Please arrive 5 minutes early.

    • 15-Minute Rule: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may be unable to proceed without compromising the quality of the work. Your appointment will be treated as a late cancellation and the deposit forfeited. Traffic or parking delays are not considered exceptions.

  • Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without any prior notice will result in the immediate loss of your deposit. Future bookings may require full payment in advance at the studio's discretion.

    • Varied Results: Cosmetic tattooing is an art. While we utilize advanced digital precision, healed results vary based on skin type (oil production/thickness), lifestyle, and medications.

    • The Ghosting Phase: Between days 5–14, pigment may appear to "vanish" or become patchy as the skin regenerates. This is a normal biological response; color will "bloom" back to the surface by week 4.

    • Perfection Session: Most treatments require a follow-up session 6–12 weeks after the initial appointment. Rescheduling this beyond the 12-week mark will result in "Annual Refresh" pricing.

    • Refunds: In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, refunds are not provided based on healed results or change of mind.

  • If you have existing PMU from another artist, you must email a clear, unedited photo to janbeautybrows.au@gmail.com before booking.

    If you arrive with undisclosed work that I cannot work over, your appointment will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.

    • Age Requirement: In accordance with NSW Health regulations, you must be 18 years of age or older. Valid photo ID may be required.

    • Contraindications: By booking, you confirm you have reviewed our Contraindications List. If treatment cannot proceed due to undisclosed pregnancy, breastfeeding, or recent Accutane use (within 12 months), your deposit is forfeited.

    • Anaesthetics: Jan Beauty Brows does not supply prescription numbing creams. If you wish to use a topical anaesthetic, please contact the studio for our Pharmacy Protocol.

    • Documentation: High-resolution photography is a mandatory part of the PMU Precise process for insurance and medical records.

    • Consent: By booking, you agree that "Before & After" photos may be used for promotional and educational purposes. If you wish to remain anonymous, please inform the studio in writing prior to your appointment

    • IP: All content, including the PMU Precise branding, images, and text on this site, are the property of Jan Beauty Brows.

    • Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse service if a treatment is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, or if studio policies are not respected.

Declaration

By proceeding to pay your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to all the above policies. You understand that 50% of your result depends on your adherence to the provided Pre-Care and Post-Care instructions.
